Hi I'm Maggie

I'm a daughter, sister, aunt, sports fanatic, and a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sister, a wife, an aunt, and a daughter. I am a special education teacher. I love sports. My favorite time of year is college football. I love running, playing soccer or any other sport, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been Mormon all of my life. I have decided to stay Mormon because of the peace and happiness that come from living this gospel. Being Mormon has allowed me find purpose in my life. My family is very important to me, and I know that I can be with them forever if I follow the commandments that we have been given to live. Everything makes sense in life based on the things that I have learned.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by visiting other women in the church, and making sure that their needs are met. I try to fill my life with service for others, so that they can feel the love of Heavenly Father and Jesus in their lives that I have felt in mine.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He would not have provided a prophet in ancient times, and not given us a prophet today. It is through the living prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, that we are able to get council for the challenges that we are going through today. He tells us what things we need to do. He also warns us of challenges that may come, and gives us ways to overcome those challenges or endure them. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families are the fundamental unit of society and they are essential to our heavenly Father's plan to help all of his children make it back to live with him one day. Our families help us to grow and become better people. The family should be our greatest support system in this life and after this life. We believe that we will be able to be with our families forever if we follow the commandments we have been given. Show more Show less
