Hi I'm Jason

I love life and learning, my family makes my world turn. I'm a proud nerd, ninja champ, and I will change the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Michigan, moved to Wisconsin, and just returned from serving a two-year mission in Spokane, WA. I've attended a semester of college, and I'm still trying to figure out which of my many interests to major in... I love anything random, running in the rain, exploring woods, and almost every kind of music! Life isn't the same without a soundtrack. I'm happy! :) I play piano, and I'm a ninja in my off-time. I immensely enjoy anything stereo-typically nerdy, whether it's Star Wars marathons or playing Mario until wee hours of the night. I have 5 awesome brothers and sisters (two of which were adopted from Samoa), and the two greatest parents ever. I love my family more than anything else besides my Savior Jesus Christ, and God my Father in Heaven. My motto was stated by Ghandi: "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." I believe anyone has the ability, and *responsibility,* to change the world for the better - one step at a time.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Simple answer: Because the Book of Mormon is true. It is an additional testimony of Christ, and His teachings contained in it, along with those in the Bible, have brought me peace and joy. I have an unshakeable testimony of Jesus Christ as my Savior, and everything we do is because of Him. I know that God answers prayers, and I've prayed, asking if this is really His restored church. He has answered through quiet thoughts, the people in my life, and most of all the feelings in my heart & soul. It's never easy to change, it's always an act of faith. But as you take that step to find out anything for yourself from our Father in Heaven, that act of faith will result in an answer that will bring that same peace, joy and direction into your own life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving my hardest to follow Christ's example. I'm far from perfect, but as I practice becoming more like Him and lean on Him for support, I discover that He never lets me down! We can be forgiven for everything as we apply Christ's teachings to our lives. I also strive to take every opportunity I can to share His gospel and the joy that I have gained through it with others. And of course, I smile!
