Hi I'm Brian

I'm band geek, A car enthusiast and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE music. Jazz, classical, clasic Rock,Country and any thing else that is good. I play the Trumpet, Baritone, French horn, and love to mess around on the piano even though I don't know how to play. I like any thing that goes fast cars, motorcycles, Snow mobiles, fourwheelers you name it. I also enjoy snowboarding even though I'm not very good. I'm currently serving a LDS mission in the Jacksonville area

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Morman all my life. I have always known that this Is Gods true church on the earth today. It's not that I've never questioned It, It's just when ever the question arises I pray to my father in heaven to know. I always get the same answer back, It doesn't come with a marching band or someone yelling in my face, It comes in the form of a quiet voice in the back of my head and says: "You know It's true, You've always known". I've had hard times just like everyone else but no matter what's going on Heavenly father conforts me and gives me this answer.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serveing a full time mission in the Jacksonville area. God commanded, through our modern day prophets, that ever worthy young man, 19 and older should serve a two year mission an that's exactly what I'm doing. However I'm not here because I'm expected to be I'm here so I can invite people to come unto Chirst. Because he has helped me be forgiven from my sins and released me from my guilt, through repentence and baptisim, I wish to share this gift with the peopl of Florida.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Brian

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Brian
When Jesus was teaching on the earth 2000 years ago, He was not payed for the preaching and numerous miracles he did. Niether were his apostles payed for there service. The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is that same church that Jesus and his apostles started 2000 years ago restored to the earth. So why should we pay our clergy if the church 2000 years ago didn't? Our clergy serve the people just like Jesus, It is a privilage to serve not a payed practice. Show more Show less
