Hi I'm Adrian

I grew up in Utah, obtained a graduate degree in mathematics in Santa Barbara, and live in Maryland. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mathematician, and I love to get outdoors, enjoy good music, play games, and prepare and eat good food--especially Asian and Mediterranean foods. I am married to my beautiful and amazing wife. We have three young children whom we are very proud of.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS family. I read the Book of Mormon when I was young, and enjoyed the stories of so many heroic individuals. Later, as a teenager, after having many questions about faith, religion, and philosophy I re-read the Book of Mormon and found answers to all those questions I had been pondering and considering for years. I prayed about the Book of Mormon to know whether it was true, and if the solutions presented therein were correct. I felt confirmation in heart and mind. They not only made sense, but provided peace and clarity. Since that day I have prayed and asked God about many other things, and have found them to be true as well. I have had it confirmed to me that the Church is true, and that the teachings and principles espoused by latter-day prophets and apostles will help me draw closer to God and find success in all facets of my life.

How I live my faith

I read scriptures and pray daily personally, with my wife, and together with our children. We follow the commandments, and seek to serve those around us. I currently work with our local younger adult men's organization. As part of that calling, I help to supervise work related to taking care of the members of the ward, and providing service to various individuals and organizations.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

The grace of Christ is my hope and salvation. While I believe a committed disciple of Christ must seek to do good, I also believe that my nature, as well as the nature of any person can be changed in and by Christ's grace. Show more Show less
