Hi I'm Beth

Mother, Floridian, and lover of the Arts.

About Me

I can't get enough of random adventuring. I live on the east coast and grew up on in the northwest. I love the beach, the mountains, metropolitan city's, and of course the fall time. I spend my time working and saving to finish up school. I love to run (especially on the beach) I also enjoy peaceful walks, and casual hang outs.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert. I found the church back while I was in high school and fell in love with the Book of Mormon and it's teachings. I lived by the standards of the Church and found I was so much happier in everything I did. I found the church to be true through so many personal experiences. I grew up in a family who was pretty active in their non-denominational church. I went through so pretty difficult conversations with my family about my conversion.. but for me it was all worth it.

How I live my faith

I find that everyday since my Baptism has been a constant journey. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ isn't just a sunday activity. It's a total lifestyle change.. a good one. I'm constantly trying to learn more about the gospel by reading scriptures and seeking guidance from Heavenly Father. I live to be worthy for the Temple, where I am able to find answers to many prayers.. I find it easiest to live my faith around those who understand the standards of the church.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Before I was a member I didn't fully understand the blessing of the Holy Ghost. I don't think you can fully understand until you have experienced it, but from what I muster up It's like a constant guide. The Holy Ghost can prompt a feeling to help you safely go throughout your day, know when to say something about the church, or may simply help you receive an answer to a prayer. By living the standards of the church you are better able to know when the Holy Ghost is apparent in your life. Show more Show less
