Hi I'm Eric

I'm a graphic designer, have 6 kids, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a graphic designer & the creative director of my own digital ad agency. My wife and I have 6 kids (The oldest 12 and the youngest - two identical twin girls that are 3yrs old). Our kids are very creative and keep life interesting. My wife and I love road trips to places we've never been before. We like art, bluegrass bands, adventures in the woods, skiing, scouting, and just chillin' with the fam. at home.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because as a teenager I read the Book of Mormon and was touched by the spirit. It inspired me the minute I started reading. I could hardly put it down, which was strange for me, considering I wasn't much of a reader at the time. I followed those promptings and Heavenly Father's been there for me ever since - through the thick and thin of life's experiences. He's blessed me and my family's life in so many ways and solidified my testimony that started as a little seed. Out of pure gratitude for his love and mercy I want to serve and be better. There are many reasons why I'm devoted to my faith, but the fundamental reason is that seed of a testimony that was planted as a teenager as I read the Book of Mormon with a sincere desire to know the truth! Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers - try it!

How I live my faith

Serving in our church is one way I live my faith. In particular I've enjoyed working in our LDS ward Boy Scout troop. I've camped in snowcaves (notice I said "camped" not slept), hiked fourteeners, slept on the side of a freeway, saw a bear, ran from lightning, visited more than one remote ER at odd hours of the night, eaten very strange meals, and helped scouts earn various Merit Badges and their Eagle awards.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes. President Thomas S. Monson is the Prophet and leader of the church today. Just like Moses in ancient times, President Monson's inspired to lead us in these days. If you listen to his talks and try to follow his counsel you'll be blessed and can know he's truly called of God. http://new.lds.org/general-conference/2010/10/charity-never-faileth?lang=eng Show more Show less
