Hi I'm Camille

I love old scary movies, reading, and 80's music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Utah but I love to travel. I've been to many countries in Europe. I love reading, movies, and music. I'm trying to learn to cook! I'm madly in love with my husband. I work for a record label. I help produce albums and plan concerts and other events.

Why I am a Mormon

Born and raised in Utah, I've been surrounded by Mormon church members (Latter-day Saints) my entire life. This was hard growing up, because I felt like a lot of my peers were living the Gospel simply because their parents told them to. When I left home to attend a university, I felt lost and alone. I knew I needed to find true meaning for my life. I researched more about the church as well as other religions. I realized that although all religions encourage to live righteously, only the LDS church's Plan of Happiness gave me the hope I needed. I am a fully active member of the LDS church because I believe it is Jesus Christ's restored gospel on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. In my local ward, I am an advisor for the young women. I teach them lessons on Sunday and help them with weekly activities. It's a lot of fun! I love that the church is very family-oriented. On Monday nights my husband and I have Family Home Evening. We love to be together on Mondays and play games or eat treats.

Are Mormons Christians?

Camille
Many religions teach the doctrine of the Trinity. They believe that God, Christ, and the Holy Ghost are one holy entity. Mormons believe that God, Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings. Since we believe Jesus Christ and God are distinct, separate people, many religions say we are not Christian. However, this is not true. Just like many other religions, we believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord, Savior, and Redeemer. We believe that he died to atone for our sins. The entire focus of our church is to bring people closer to Jesus Christ. We are indeed as Christian as they come. Show more Show less
