Hi I'm Jeff

I love palm trees, I'm a music fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Korea, but my family has since moved to the states. I have always had a strong interest in fine arts ever since my mom signed me up for piano lessons and art classes. I love to sing along to my favorite tunes in the car. I love all kinds of music, and I love to record new bands in my recording studio. Concert-going is a regular weekend activity. After serving a two year mission in the heartland of America, I have returned to college studying technical theatre with a sound design & audio engineering emphasis. Basically all that backstage stuff that goes on behind-the-scenes for a musical, play, or concert. I just get a kick out of a good sound mix and listening to some talented performers.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been born into the church, it was easy to get well acquainted with the doctrines and practices. I can remember just having fun as a kid going to church and learning more about Jesus. I think whether or not you grow up with a knowledge of Jesus Christ, you still come to a point in your life where you have a choice. You can either choose to follow the example of Jesus Christ, or not. In my youth I attended a church summer camp called EFY, Especially for Youth, for five years. I found great strength knowing that there were other kids just like me going through my same struggles while relying on Christ to get us through. As I have prayed to God, and let Jesus take the wheel in my life I have felt my burdens be lightened and lifted. It is the best feeling in the world to have your sins forgiven. I know that God lives. There is no doubt. He is aware of the fine details in our life, and all things are done in His wisdom. Nothing comes close to the joy I receive from serving others and living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

While I was a full-time missionary and representative of the Savior I had the opportunity to bring the joys and truths of the restored gospel to all of God's children. There is no more satisfying work than devoting your entire time and attention to serving the Lord. I have been able to gain a greater charity and Christlike love for those around me as I have helped people to develop a stronger personal relationship with Jesus and faith in Him. Every morning I wake up I am grateful for the plethora of blessings that God has given me, and I want to share that with others. I want everyone to understand that God loves you! Currently I am the president of a student organization on campus that focuses on developing faith in Christ and serving others. It is such a neat opportunity to plan and organize uplifting activities that help out the community.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

There are two evidences in this world. Physical and spiritual. The only way to know of spiritual truths is to receive a witness from the Holy Ghost. We must ask God with faith, and the Holy Ghost will reveal the truth of all things. It is simple, but can take some work. Understanding comes over time through study, prayer, pondering, and acting on the message we share. Show more Show less
