Hi I'm Julie

I grew up in Utah. I'm an entrepreneur. I'm an artist. I'm a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my best friend. I love to do DIY projects, decorate my house, run, sew, create, call my family, and spend time with the people I love. It feels so great to work hard and live righteously while having loads of fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because all of the principles of the gospel bring me closer to my family. I am a Mormon because when I live this gospel and increase my faith and hope in Christ I feel so much joy. I am a Mormon because I know that my Savior Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he atoned for all of our sins and our sorrows and that only through him can we repent of our mistakes, change, and then have the opportunity to live with our Father in Heaven, our God, once again. I am a Mormon because I love TRUTH, I love my Savior, I love my Heavenly Father, I love my husband, I love my family, and I love my friends! This church and it's teachings have changed my life and my relationships. I am so thankful for it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to create a heaven withing myself, my interactions, and my life. Another way I strive to live my faith is to have pure love toward those around me. I try to look on others with compassion and love. As I teach the young women in my ward I feel that I can be a personal messenger from the Lord of his truth. When I visit other women in my ward I try to understand where they are coming from and search for ways in which I can be a support to them. Most of all I strive to give the Lord my best. From the deepest part of my heart I am striving to develop attributes that Christ emulates like selflessness, kindness, devotion, hard work, faith, and love and then apply them into my marriage as well as my family, friend, and work relationships. Doing this has deepened my relationship with God and with my husband.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Julie
If you are interested in learning about the church you can look up a church building and meeting time in your area on LDS.org, or if you know me you can contact me and I will help you learn more. We can arrange for missionaries and church members to visit you. They will be able to answer any questions that you have and teach you more about the gospel. You will be invited to come to church, read the Book of Mormon, pray, and come to know for yourself that it is true. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

Julie
The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and a sacred record of the people in Ancient America. Like the Bible is a record from other parts of the world and contains messages from Christ's ministry upon the Earth, The Book of Mormon also shares messages from when Christ visited the people in Ancient America. This book is full of truth! I love it so much! Reading this book and feeling how true and powerful it is has changed my life. I am so thankful that Joseph Smith translated this book so that we can have access to it today! Visit this site for more information http://lds.org/topic/book-of-mormon/ Show more Show less
