Hi I'm Richard

I grew up in Ut. and now live in Id. I love the church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am now retired after working for a company 33 years. I am married 45 years and we have 5 children and 18 grandchildren. After I retired my wife and I served a LDS mission in California for 18 months the best time of our live. I enjoy the out doors and gardening and being with my eternal companion.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all of my life. I am the third generation. My grandpa was taught the gospel in England by two young missionaries and was baptized. I came from a active family and went to church all my growing up years at 19 I joined the Army and become inactive. When I was discharged from the Army I started to work and got married to a wonderful lady who was also a member of the church all her live. When our first child was born we wanted to have our children brought up in the church so they could have the same opportunities that we had as we grow up in the church. We wanted our home to be a refuge from the influences of the outside world and to have friends with the same high standers. Free from drugs, alcoholic drinks, tobacco, or anything harmful for the body. Also to have good language and to dress modestly. How grateful I am for the church and that we were able to go to church as a family and for the principles that we learned that we can be a family forever and for our Heavenly Fathers plan of happiness.

How I live my faith

Our five children are all married and out of the nest. My wife and I are active we go to church every Sunday and try to go to the Temple once a week. I have served in a number of calling in the church through out my life. At present I am serving as one of the counselors in the ward bishopric. I love the gospel, I love serving the people and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings peace in this life and eternal salvation in the life to come. "I AM A MORMON" and proud of it.
