Hi I'm Kasey

I am Mormon!

About Me

We have lived in Utah our entire lives. Danny served a mission in Tacoma Washington and absolutely loved it, he loved the people and the wonderful spirit that was there. The two of us were married in the Jordan River Utah temple on March 6, 2009. We are so happy and enjoy the blessings that come from having the gospel in our lives!

Why I am a Mormon

We have grown up in the church and have seen first hand the many blessings that come from it. Although we grew up LDS we have developed our own testimonies of the truthfulness of the gospel and are grateful for the strength it gives us in this tough world.

How I live my faith

We always try to attend the temple and do things with our families. Family is so important to us and we want to do all we can with them while on this earth.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Kasey
I have personal experience with this question. A few years ago I moved out on my own for college. I moved not really knowing anyone and our Father in Heaven really became my best friend. I prayed to him a lot and I really felt that there was someone listening that understood what I was going through. I think that the best way to come to know our Father in Heaven is through prayer. Scripture study helps as well :) Show more Show less

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Kasey
LDS church service meetings are reverent ward meetings. Each individual ward meets together to participate in three blocks of church meetings. Usually the first one is Sacrament Meeting where we partake of the sacrament, hear about ward activities and church news, and hear inspiring talks and testimonies. The second block of time consists of sunday school which is catered to certain age groups. In these meetings we learn of Christ and study the scriptures and words of our prophets. During the third block the men, and young men, part from the women and young women. During this separation they get together according to their age and the gospel of christ is taught in a way that is geared towards them specifically. All of these meetings and lessons point back to Christ and what we can do to become like him. Of course, visitors are allowed at church. We love having newcomers and love answering questions. We want everyone to hear about this restored gospel. Anyone can come!! It doesn't matter what you wear—but it is preferred that you look your personal best to respect the Lord's Day, Sunday—what you believe, or what questions you may have. We would love to have you.
