Hi I'm Aaron

I'm an aspiring air traffic controller, a father and husband to an incredible wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies include woodworking, sailing, bonsai, aviation, fishing, and most importantly spending time with my wife and son.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been in the church for several generations. My parents encouraged my brothers, sister and I to develop a testimony of our own. Through studies of my own and much sincere prayer, I have learned for myself that Heavenly Father Loves me, that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that his Gospel has been restored to the earth through living prophets who continue to act as his mouthpiece on the earth today. I have come to recognize many tender mercies from the Lord in my life as I have worked to keep the commandments and strive on a daily basis to follow the example that my Savior set for me.

How I live my faith

I've had the opportunity to serve as a teacher and have also assisted with organizing several events for my congregation. I find great peace in carrying out my assignments and responsibilities and in living by the principles I know to be true - even if it isn't always easy.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

My wife and I occasionally ask this question of each other to strike up conversation. My canned response has become 'to be happy'. She has corrected that to 'to find happiness in doing good things'. Our Heavenly Father does have a plan for us. Mormons often refer to this plan as 'The Plan of Happiness'. The ultimate goal of this plan is for each of God's children to obtain peace in this life and then eternal joy in the life here after. Show more Show less
