Hi I'm Jeri

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My passion in life is being the mother of our four children and my primary focus for the past 23 years has been raising our four wonderful children. I love to spend time traveling with family and friends and have been to all 50 US states and five continents. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree from the University of Virginia. I enjoy boating, skiing, reading, watching our children play lacrosse, spending time with extended family, and teaching Seminary.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints contains the fullness of Christ’s gospel. I love to study and obey the words of the prophets found in all books of scripture, including the Old and New Testaments and the Book of Mormon. My faith is continually strengthened as I listen to and obey the words of our living prophet. My faith has been the foundation of my life and has been the guiding influence as my husband and I have raised our children.

How I live my faith

I cannot separate my faith from my life. My faith is in and through every decision that I make and I live my faith every day. One of the hardest commandments that we obey as a family is keeping the Sabbath day holy. All of our children have played high school lacrosse and not participating in events on Sunday is a continual challenge. But the blessings of obeying this commandment have far outweighed any sacrifice that has been required.
