Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to college, and going into accounting. I am single, and enjoy being with my immediate family. I enjoy running, hiking, playing ping pong, making movies with my little brother, doing outdoor activities, and spending time with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I grew up in the church, so I think that, and supportive parents helped me decide to follow this path. But I think my decision to become a member was just as hard as anyone else who is investigating the church for the first time. My testimony did not come from learning all the ways of the LDS church, but from much time on my knees praying to know if everything that I had learned my entire was true or not. And that is hard when you have the bias toward the things you have always been taught to believe your whole life. I really had to step back and just ask the Lord if these things were indeed true. And I can say that I know for myself that I know they are true! I know that the gospel can bless the life of those who strive to live it, as it has blessed my life!

How I live my faith

Right now, I am in charge of planning and organizing activities in the singles ward! I love it! It is soo fun! I also have a list of people that I visit, and to make sure they are doing well. I teach a class on Sundays as well

What do Mormons believe about family?

I believe that the family is very important to the church, and is one of the main focus points! They strive to help families be more happy and united! We also believe that we can have our families even after we die. I think a question that one of my friends asked his friend, who was not a member applies well. He asked: "Can you imagine heaven without your family?" If you think about it, heaven wouldn't be heaven without your family!...at least it wouldn't be for me. Show more Show less
