Hi I'm Dan

I'm a student of life, I'm an entrepreneur, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 26 and love being social and talking with new people. I graduated from BYU with a degree in Business Management and am living in Tacoma, WA. After graduating, I worked for two different Internet marketing firms as a SEO specialist and loved working with both of them but most of all I loved the experience it gave me. I applied the skills I learned to my small business website to help it grow and be more successful. The business was started to financially help my brother and I get through college but we soon realized it could help support our future families. Since that experience I've done other small business ventures and love looking for new entrepreneurship opportunities that can help create jobs, improve the world, or help someone enjoy life a little more.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized at the age of eight and for the entire 26 years of my existence god has testified to me through small and large miracles that this is the right path. You can feel something different, good, and wholesome around people of our faith and its something that lifts your spirits up. Even while reading other peoples profiles I can feel a good uplifting feeling that makes me want to be a better person. At the age of 19 I served a 2 year mission in Peru. While serving the people I gained an even stronger testimony that god was leading this church and that the lords church was restored through a true prophet of god just like God established his church in ancient times with prophets and apostles. I've been home from the mission for 5 years and have been living on my own. Sometimes it's hard to do what you know and believe to be right when everywhere you look you see the world around you "having fun" in breaking the commandments. But like the scriptures say "wickedness never was happiness" and by following the saviors example and keep the commandments I have been blessed and rewarded even more than I ever could've imagined. I also love being Mormon because it helps me meet friends that help me be a better person and help me to live a higher standard.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me and including everyone in fun activities. At the ward I'm on the activities committee and recently we were able to plan a camp out on beach front property. We not only had a blast swimming, kayaking, and catching sea creatures but we were also able to have a small program and talks were given to help us be better and have the Holy Ghost stronger in our lives to guide us in making righteous decisions.
