Hi I'm Matt

I was raised on the east coast . I'm a graduate student working on my M.S. in Radiation Health Physics.

About Me

My heritage is Chinese, however, I was born in America. Before I was born my parents met the missionaries and were baptized. I grew up on the east coast where Mormons were a minority. In high school I participated in a variety of activities such as the track and field, the Bible club, the Future Business Leaders of America and the peer mentoring program. After my freshmen year at college I served as a Christian missionary in South Africa. Despite our differences, I learned to love all of God's children whom I had the privilege of coming into contact. After serving for 2 years I returned home and resumed studies. Recently, my wife and I were graced by the birth of our little son, Ethan.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have faith in Jesus Christ. I believe that our savior has called apostles and prophets in our days just like he did prior to his ascension into heaven following his resurrection from the dead.

How I live my faith

I strive to treat others with kindness and respect. I try to follow the example of Jesus by giving selfless service to others both within and without our church.
