Hi I'm Brandon

I am an anesthesiologist. I have a wonderful wife and three children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with 5 younger sisters. As the only boy, I faced unique challenges and yet was exposed to many situations that made me who I am today. I learned early on in life the importance of family and love. To this day spending time with my sisters and their families. My dad and I were able to spend a lot of time together. My dad and I love to fly-fish, scuba dive, go camping, skiing and hunting. I also absolutely love sports. I grew up in the church, and served a mission in Berlin, Germany. My beautiful wife and I have been married for 14 years. I have gained a new appreciation for my parents, now that I am a father of 2 daughters and a son. I am an anesthesiologist and absolutely love it. The human body is fascinating. We are truly a divine creation.

Why I am a Mormon

Although raised in the church, I still had to make the personal decision to stay in the church and chose to follow the restored gospel. When I was in seminary I felt the impression, that I needed to test the faith in Christ that I had burning inside me. I was blessed with the belief in Christ early on in life. However, I needed to find out if this was his Church and his teachings. I read the Book of Mormon and paid attention to how I felt as I read it. I unlocked it's power by reading it. As I was reading it, I felt closer to Christ. I prayed to know if it was true. I felt a burning in my heart that it was true. The truths found in the gospel are eternal and absolute. They never waiver or falter. I continue to follow (as best I can) the gospel because it is the only true source of everlasting happiness. Nothing in this world can bring anyone more happiness, freedom and peace than the gospel of Jesus Christ. When we following the teachings of Christ, we will be blessed with the knowledge of the gospel's truth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best I can. I try to remember that I am a child of God and as his son, should act accordingly. With that in mind I try to be an example. As one with a testimony of the restored gospel, it is not only my responsibility to share my testimony, but also to live my testimony. The way I live is a testament to the gospel's power. It has the power to change one's heart. I live my faith the way I do, because it makes me and my family happy. I teach the young children in our church. Their spirits are very strong. I love teaching them the gospel of christ and find great satisfaction in doing so.
