Hi I'm Ann

I grew up in a Mormon family. I now have a family of my own.

About Me

I am the mother of 4 energetic boys and wife to a wonderful husband. My family is very important to me. I volunteer in the schools, teach piano lessons and work with kids at church. I have a busy life, but I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I believe we are here for a reason. This life is a test and if we can hold tight to Christ's teachings and live our lives like he lived his, then when this life is over we will have blessings that we can't even imagine. I know that God has not left us to be here alone. He has given us a modern day prophet, scriptures, prayer and others in our life that help us along the path that we walk. We never walk alone!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to always do good things. I try to reach out in my community and get to know my neighbors and offer to help them if they need it. In my church I frequently work with the children and I love doing this. It makes my life much happier. At home, being a mother really helps me to be the most Christ like that I can be. Sometimes that means lots of prayer and pondering how Christ would handle a situation. It can be a challenge, but with God anything is possible. I truly believe this!! I also believe that we are here for a definite purpose and to accomplish good things. Remembering this helps to keep the daily grind in perspective.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Ann
Our lifestyle is much like that of other religious families. We attend church together on Sundays, frequently participate in other church activities and hold Family Home Evening with our family on Monday nights. We also pray together as families and read scriptures on a regular basis. We participate in activities together that help our families become closer and have holiday traditions that help bring us together as well. We abstain from things that could be harmful or addictive to our bodies such as alcohol, tobacco and coffee. Show more Show less
