Hi I'm James

Grew up in South England, I run my own business to help others. i'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a mormon family that i am so gratful for. We are not a big family but we are very close. I have a beautiful wife who helps me. Im like any normal person i love to socialise with all i work with our around. i enjoy meeting new people and helping whenever i can. I love football, F1, archery and fishing. i learnt to play the guitar for 6 years and still enjoy playing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon! this is the life i have chosen as i know Jesus is the Christ, Joseph Smith was a prophet of god and that the Book of Mormon is another testiment of Jesus Christ. I have seen the Lords hand in my life blessing my life and others. I have received answers to prayers and I have felt the love of my Father above. My conversion happened in my teens when i was unsure what to believe. i was never much of a reader but i was challanged once to read The book of Mormon, i took up the challange and when i started to read i could not put the book down all of my questions were answered and i could not deny there was a God. with this testimony i received i went on a mission to preach the word of god and serving the lord has blessed me so much. there is so much joy in helping others come unto christ and seeing them receive a wittness of the Book of Mormon and receive a testimony of Joseph Smith. Faith in the lord Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, my family and my wife is my drive in life. faith is what gets me out in the morning to push myself to my limits and to do all i can for all those around me. My testimony continues to grow and it means so much to me. My father told me once "the future is as bright as your faith" and that "to build a better world it starts with you" these have always stayed with me as i work, study and live day to day. we are all here for a reason! Jesus Christ died for our sins! Joseph Smith is and was a Prophet of God and we are still lead today by the Prophet Thomas s Monson. I'm a Mormon becuase the Lord answered my prayers and has led and guided me everyday. I'm a Mormon Becuase this is the only true church on the earth today with the authority to act in Gods name. I'm a Mormon of my own choice becuase i know its true.

How I live my faith

From the minute i wake to the minute i get into bed Faith is so important to me. I'am a teacher for the youth sunday school at church, i love teaching the youth and helping them understand Jesus Christ and his mission. The youth are very important as they are the future i am a firm believer that "we must teach them correct principals and let them govern themselves". I study the scriptures each day and apply what i learn i love to share what i have learnt with my family and with the youth on a sunday. I live my faith by helping those who are in need whether its physical, emotional or spiritual i believe that true friends walk in when the world walks out. we must love one another and help and build up each other.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

James
Throughout history, God has chosen prophets, such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, and others, to teach the gospel and direct His Church (Amos 3:7). It is no different today. We all need God’s guidance in a world that is sometimes confusing. Because God loves His children, He continues to send living prophets. Joseph Smith (1805–44) was the first prophet of our time. Thomas S. Monson is God’s chosen prophet today. Just as God led the Israelites out of slavery and to a better place through His prophet Moses, He leads His children today into happier, more peaceful lives when they choose to follow His living prophet. We invite you to listen to the words of living prophets and consider how knowing God’s will can benefit your life. Show more Show less

In whom should we have faith?

James
In order to come closer to Heavenly Father and receive all the blessings that He has for you, you must first develop faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Peter taught that “there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Faith in God is more than a theoretical belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, to have confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. It is a principle of action and power. Show more Show less

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

James
Along with evidence of His marvelous creations all around you, Heavenly Father has given you many ways to know for yourself that He lives. You can: ■Talk to Him through prayer and ask Him for reassurance and love. ■Read the testimonies of special witnesses called apostles and prophets. They have had sacred experiences with God and have recorded these experiences in sacred books called scriptures. ■Keep His commandments, which bring you closer to God and help you know that He lives. Your belief in God will grow as you: Pray to Heavenly Father (James 1:5). Study the scriptures (2 Timothy 3:14-17). Obey God’s commandments (John 14:21-23). As you act on your desire to believe, God will strengthen your belief in Him until it becomes sure knowledge (Book of Mormon, Alma 32:27-35). Show more Show less
