Hi I'm Kent

I was born and raised in Arizona. I flew fighters in the Air Force and am a retired airline pilot. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a Masters degree, have flown fighters in the Air Force and am now a retired airline pilot. I am married with seven children and 6 grandchildren. I love playing golf, trading in the markets and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

The Mormon faith gives me the incentive to be the absolute best I can be. I take the Savior's admonition to 'Be ye therefore perfect' as a literal admonition that is achievable in His eternal plan of happiness. The Saviors perfect example through his life and resurrection and the words of living prophets and scriptures give us the guidelines and council we need to achieve that. Family relationships and ordinances that seal us together for eternity brings the greatest amount of peace and happiness that can be acheved in no other way. It's the greatest joy I could ever hope for.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to remember the Savior's life and teachings every day and applying them in my daily life. I try to increase my willingness and capacity to love, have faith and serve others where ever I have that opportunity and in various callings within the Church. I love to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and receive the greatest joy by witnessing others learn accept His teachings.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Kent
Because God is not a God of confusion but of law and order in his kingdon. His authority through the correct channels is one of order. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Kent
Mormons believe that we were created as spiritual children of an eternal Father in Heaven. As such we have been living 'spiritually' for thousands of years prior to this earthly life where we obtain a physical body to house our spirits. After this life, because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we will also be resurrected and live for eternity with our ressurected body. Show more Show less
