Hi I'm Brett

I'm a skier, a social entrepreneur, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm passionate about a few things: making the world better, skiing, and church. I'm a recent MBA graduate, entrepreneur, and just got married to the most amazing woman ever. My social enterprise is making strides, and the snow is starting to fall. Things are good.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I feel that it is true. I feel it is true when I say a sincere prayer, when I read the Bible, or when I go to church. I feel that it is true when I do a little better at living by the teachings of Christ. I feel it is true as I read from the Book of Mormon or listen to the prophet speak. I feel it is true when life is hard and I turn a bit more toward the Savior. This feeling is so important because it is the Holy Ghost confirming truth as mentioned in Galations 5:22-23. As I follow the teachings of Christ and listen to the Holy Ghost, my life is better.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week, even when traveling if possible. I read from the scriptures every day, and pray every day. All of this helps me in my goal of following the two great commandments: loving God and loving my neighbor.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No. He is revered as a prophet that brought forth the fullness of the gospel in modern times. We worship God and his son, Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
