Hi I'm Elizabeth.

My husband and I are Acitve Duty Air Force. I love to Rock Climb. Singing is my favorite pass time and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Both my husband, and myself are Active Duty in the United States Air Force. I work Military Pay and my husband is a Metorologist for the Air Force. I was born into the church and my parents are First Generation, but my husband is a convert to the Gospel. We have certainly had our fair share of rough times, in being tried and tested. Our first year and a half of marriage we were stationed at different duty locations and so we didn't get to spend a lot of time together, we have worked very hard to keep our relationship strong and it has paid off. We are currently working toward going to the Temple to be sealed for time and all eternity, and we are very excited. Having the church in our lives as brought us closer together, we know that by growing closer to our Heavenly Father we grow closer to eachother.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I was a small child I was raised to love people. When I live the Gospel of Jesus Christ, loving people is easier. I know that when I am serving and loving those around me I am showing my love and service to my Heavenly Father. I have always wanted a family of my own and to know that through the ordinances of the Temple I can be with those I love forever, is very soothing. The only way that I know I can return to my Heavenly Father and being with my family forever is through the LDS faith, there is only one way through Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I know that the Lord taught when we are in the service of our fellow men we are in the service of our God, and I know that through sharing my love and talents and time with others I am showing my God that I serve and love him. I am becoming involved with the local Special Olympics groups and it is so enjoyable and rewarding. I know that they are sweet and precious souls to our Heavenly Father. Being involved helps me stay busy and keeps me out of trouble when I know that the adversary would try to drag me down. When I am serving others the adversary has no power over me and when it comes to that I can use all the help I can get.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families have been around literally forever, and as a mormon we understand that we can be together with our family for time and all eternity. We understand that when we leave this life we won't be able to take anything with us, but we do have the oppertunity to stay with our family forever. When I think about my family, they are people that even when I screw up or make poor decisions still love me, just the way Heavenly Father and Jesus do. When you share a love like that with some one, whether it is your spouse, your children, brothers and sisters, or maybe extended family, you want to keep it and them forever, and we know that Heavenly Father first blesses us and answers our prayers through our family members, because we love and trust them. We refer to God as our Heavenly FATHER, and to Jesus Christ as our Brother, and that is because we know that concept of a family is not new. Show more Show less
