Hi I'm Carl

I'm a Jewish convert. I'm married with 8 children 6 boys & 2 girls and could not be more blessed!

About Me

I'm a husband, dad, and businessman who deals with a busy life just like everyone else. Over the years I have enjoyed being my kids coach in athletics, serving on a local school board, serving in the church and supporting my wife and children in a job that requires a lot of travel. Like many others, I experience the blessings of life and the growth that comes through obstacles and challenges, but with faith, I know my family will be together forever.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I made it the desire of my heart to find out if the Book of Mormon was the word of God so I had the missionary's teach me and ultimately I put a promise found in the Book of Mormon to the test. It states that "Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things and ponder it in your hearts. And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ. if these things are not true and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost and by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things". With that in mind, I made it a quest to find the truth. Was Jesus Christ the Messiah of my people? Would I really know through the Ruach Elohim (The Holy Ghost)? If so, is this religion with the Book of Mormon and living modern day prophets really the answer to my prayers? I'll tell you that indeed it is! I came to know for myself that these things are true and hope that any who want to know will take the time to find out, because in doing so, there is a peace and happiness that comes which is more precious then anything else in life or beyond!

How I live my faith

I have served in a variety of ways in the Church. I have worked with the youth (ages 12-18), young adults (ages 19-31), and have presided over congregational membership of all ages. I served a Mission in NYC, NY and with my wife and children find great joy in serving others and helping in ways that have real value.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

We believe that Families can be together forever. As such, we have hope. This hope binds us with those family members who have gone before us and gives us a purpose to leave a legacy of faith for those who follow us. We know that the hearts of the children need to turn to our Fathers and that that the hearts of the Fathers are indeed turned to their children! Show more Show less
