Hi I'm Joe

I'm a working, full time college student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student who is working full time to get through my education. I am studying Recreation Management, and I LOVE the outdoors. I love camping, skiing, swimming, waterpolo, baseball, football, and I'll try just about anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a mormon and for a long time that was the only reason that I went to church and followed the teachings. However, when I was 19 I decided to go on a mission for the church and out in Florida I truly came to grips with my faith and realized how beautiful it is to know that I'm not alone here on the earth and that I have a purpose to everything I do. Also, it's awesome to know that if I mess up along the way, my savior Jesus Christ has provided a way for me to repent through his atonement. I love the Church and the feeling of love I feel from my Heavenly Father when I am doing what is right.

How I live my faith

I take time out of my daily life to attend classes about our faith, and I have made it a personal goal to get early every day and read the scriptures so that I can be prepared to face the world. For 2 years I served as a missionary in the Florida Orlando mission, and I was given the opportunity to teach the hispanic community.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Joe
Whenever I entered someones home as a Mormon missionary, I was there to help them understand that their Heavenly Father loved them enough to send his son Jesus Christ, and then he continued to call other messengers of the gospel known as prophets. These prophets are God's current representative here on earth, with the authority to teach us of his will. Show more Show less
