Hi I'm Travis

I am an average American. Went to college, and now just plan on working and living the American Dream. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am your average American. Grew up in a western town full of coal mines and cattle. Where hard work pays off. Played sports, was active in many different things growing up, went to college. Now I am just working while I live my dream. Recently joined the local volunteer fire department. I enjoy riding my horse, fly fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and spending time outdoors. Anywhere in the mountains. Listing to cattle out on a country side, or the wind through the pines. I love my country, my friends, my family and my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I found it to be true. I was confused and had so many questions. I allowed my heart to be open and at least listen. When I did, Heavenly Father blessed me with the truth and an understanding. When I learned more I understood more. I was able to understand the old testament better. I was able to understand Prophets and Apostles. The Priesthood, and the fullness of Christs Gospel. That God is a loving and Eternal Father. That he is the same yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. I know this is the true Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live it by believing in it. I am still learning like everyone else is, yet If I can learn of the atonement and strive to become better. To follow the Gospel. This means I attend church, and church activities. I try my hardest to stay worthy and to follow the Prophets words. I read my scriptures, and pray. I serve in the community and try to help when someone needs help.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Travis
To me its just like any other Christian. Because it came from our Heavenly Father. It tells the story of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It also tells us how the Book of Mormon is to come. To me that shows that Heavenly Father had and still currently has a plan for our time today in this life. That it was not something long ago that seems so far off. That Prophets of old told events of today. That Heavenly Father always used Prophets to teach, and that is the same today with our Living Prophet. That he will never forsake us. Show more Show less
