Hi I'm Erin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a new mom...and i LOVE it. I waited longer than I thought I'd wait to be a wife and mother. I was 30 years old when I got married. I am 32 years old now and just had my first baby. My husband and I refer to ourselves as "late bloomers". What a blessing to have the opportunity to learn the lessons I learned while I was single and traveling throughout the nation and to China for work. I also enjoyed traveling for fun and participating in some exciting (and exhausting) endurance events - marathons, triathlons, etc. Serving a mission was also one of the great blessings of my single days. Now I am working from home for a wonderful company that helps estate planning attorneys grow their businesses, changing lots of diapers, waking up at night to feed my daughter, singing lots of nursery rhymes and encouraging my husband as he is working on a doctorate degree. The Lord knew I needed some time to learn and grow before he blessed me with my greatest blessings of all - my husband and daughter. Being a wife and mother has been my best adventure yet.

Why I am a Mormon

I know I am a child of God. I know he loves me. I have felt the love of my Heavenly Father throughout my life. I know he has created a plan to help me, and my family, progress in this life and in the next. I know that Heavenly Father sent his son, Jesus Christ to the earth to atone for our sins. Coming to understand his atonement has given meaning to my live. It has given me hope. I'm a Mormon because I've felt God's love. I'm a Mormon because I prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was true, and felt the answer "yes". I'm a Mormon because the atonement of Jesus Christ has changed me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith be trying to be like Jesus Christ. I fail, but keep trying. Each time I try, I am able to change and grow. I live my faith by becoming. I won't ever be perfect...but the opportunity to change helps me keep trying.
