Hi I'm Suzanne

I live in Wyoming. I'm a wife and mother of 4 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home Mother of 4. Three boys and one girl. I've had short stints of working to help out my family such as, waitressing, Emergency Medical Technician, substitute Teacher, Construction work, and Receptionist at an Eye Doctor's office. I love finding new recipes to cook and bake. I started running at age 34 and have run 2 marathons and a few half-marathons. I've lived in Seoul, Korea for 3 years as a youth and visited New Zealand, Hawaii, and many of the States on the Main-land.My husband and I love to travel and like to spend our anniversaries in Hawaii. My next goal is Europe!

Why I am a Mormon

While I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I still had to gain my own personal testimony of the gospel. I've read the Book of Mormon countless times and have received a witness that it is indeed a true book. Through the struggling of teenage years, the Book of Mormon was my life-line. I've prayed to know if Joseph Smith was truly a prophet, and had that answer confirmed to me as well. My father passed away when I was 19 years old and my Mother at age 25. I've also lost 3 babies. Those losses brought me closer to my Father in Heaven. The Holy Ghost comforted me and I know that I will see my parents again. I have siblings who have chosen other paths. I see differences in our lives. I have found that if I try my best to keep the commandments and follow Jesus's example, relying on His mercy and the Atonement, I feel true peace and happiness. My life is not without struggle, but I know that my God will never leave me alone. He loves me and knows who I am. He desires ALL of His children to return to Him.

How I live my faith

I was a volunteer EMT for 10 years in my community. I felt it a blessing to be able to care for my family and those around me. By serving our fellow man, we are serving our God. I've been involved with the youth in our Church for quite a few years. Currently I'm involved with the Young Women and Young Men ages 12-18, planning activities that will give them opportunities to become closer as friends and to become closer to Jesus Christ. I also teach a Sunday School class to ages 8-10 years old. I'm trying to teach my children to love and serve others and to be grateful for all that challenges in life that are opportunities to grow and to become closer to the Savior.
