Hi I'm Jared Lescoe

I'm a college student, I'm a business owner, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing sports, reading, writing, being creative and associating with new people and traveling to new places. I am an accountant, a business owner, and a student. I have written a book over 500 pages long. I jog regularly and try to eat healthy. I have lived in Texas, Pennsylvania, Utah, and shortly in California.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because as I have followed the teachings of the Church and applied those teachings in my own life I have come nearer to God, come to know myself better, and found great joy, peace, and happiness. Because of the gospel I know who I am, where I come from, and where I am going after this life. Because of the gospel I feel I have an anchor faceted firmly to the Lord which keeps me from being washed to and fro with every wave of doctrine or philosophy of the world/men. I can receive real, personal revelation and communicate personally with my Father in Heaven. I know who He is and because I know who He is I can better understand myself. The gospel has helped me in every facet of my life. I feel I am more confident, more capable, more intelligent, and more likable because of the change that has occured within me from accepting, understanding, and living the principals of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to keep the Lord's spirit with me at all times. By having the spirit of the Lord, I know how to act in certain situations, how to treat others with love and respect, and what to do when I come into a certain situation where there is no pre-determined answer. I live my faith by trying to be like the Savior Jesus Christ in all I do and with each individual with whom I associate with or come into contact with.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Jared Lescoe
Mormons live like normal, wholesome, good people. We do not believe we should engage in pre-marital sexual relations, use drugs or alcohol, view pornographic or violent images, or do business on the Sabbath. In other words, we live after the manner of the Saints in the New Testament of the Bible, and this is why we are sometimes referred to as "Latter Day Saints," or in other words, "Last" day saints.
