Hi I'm Jenn

I'm thankful to be a Mormon.

About Me

I am a fairly new convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized on my 32 birthday in 2008. I'm a mother of 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy, and I've been married for the last 5 years to my wonderful husband, and my best friend. I'm originally from southwest Washington but moved to the Boise, Idaho area about 1 1/2 years ago. I have been a dental assistant for about 12 years and I'm currently working in a periodontal specialty office. I love gymnastics, and photography, and have a special place in my heart for my beloved chihuahua, Anakin.

Why I am a Mormon

Everything about the Mormon church has touched my life. With the gospel of Jesus Christ as the center of our belief, my life has been blessed in so many ways. I'm thankful to have a prophet in our day, (Thomas S. Monson) to lead and guide us, as the mouthpiece of Jesus Christ, through the difficult times that we live in today.

How I live my faith

As a Mormon, living my faith means not just going to church on Sunday and forgetting the rest of the week. I strive to be more like my Saviour, Jesus Christ on a daily basis. Daily scripture reading, and prayer keeps me focused on my eternal goal of returning to my Heavenly Father. Serving members of our ward family and community bring me great joy.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

What a great question! Mormons do not woship anyone other than God the Father, and his son, Jesus Christ. While we honor Joseph Smith for translating the Book of Mormon and respect his endless sacrifice to restore the gospel of Jesus Christ, we do not worship him. Show more Show less
