Hi I'm Mike

I use play cards competitively. I've never had a brainfreeze. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm curently attending college, trying to learn to make a contribution to the world. I lived in Argentina for two years serving as a missionary in my Church. The impact that that experience has had on my life is far greater than I ever imagined. I have an adopted younger brother who has been one the greatest examples I've ever had in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a Mormon family and cannot imagine how difficult this life would be without the spiritual guidance I receive as a member of this religion. I just feel an inexpressible peace in this Church. Through these peaceful feelings, I've come to know that this is what my Heavenly Father wants for me.

How I live my faith

I am responsible to help other males of my own age group to make correct decisions, so that they can receive God's promised blessings. I also help teach young adults who are preparing to serve as missionaries in Spanish speaking areas. What I try to do more than anything is to treat everyone like my brother and sister, helping them in difficult times. All of us are part of God's family and we all need each other.

In whom should we have faith?

We should have faith in Jesus Christ. We all have difficult times in life. That is part of the test to see if we will trust God. After our lives are over, everything that has gone wrong in this life will be made right by Christ. We must choose to believe that and have faith in God no matter what happens. Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes they can, and they can be happy together. Families can be a source of the greatest joy if they follow the Lord's plan. Show more Show less

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

We all lived together with Him before this life. We already "know" Him in a sense. We have forgotten this pre-Earth life with Him, but He has given us clues here on Earth. As we sincerely pray to Him and wait for answers, He will reveal Himself to us through our feelings of love and inspiring thoughts. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

One purpose in life is to be happy. The teachings of Jesus Christ show us what we should do to have that happiness. Show more Show less
