Hi I'm Bob

I grew up in Provo, UT. I'm an Eagle Scout. I love listening to Classic Rock Music. I'm a computer tech. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of two, a boy and a girl. Both are now teenagers. I love to read. Fantasy and adventure are my favorite. I take a book everywhere I go. I never know when I'll have a few minutes to read. I work at a college so I take a class here and there for fun. I would like to get a certificate in Web Design. I enjoy anything that has to do with computers. I find them fascinating. I like sharing what I know about computers with others, preferably in a one on one setting. I like to play board and card games with my family. We have all sorts. I have a brief case dedicated to my card games.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I realize that I cannot get through this life on my own. I rely heavily on prayer. I pray when things are going well for me and when they are not. I always have a prayer in mind as I go through the day. I believe that prayer is a way to become closer to God. By praying daily, you build a friendship with God that will put you in tune with Him. You will be open to His assistance. Inspiration will come to you right when you need it. I know this to be true. I have had it happen to me many times. During tests in school, finding my way around a new city, looking up a reference in a book, or just saying the right thing at the right time.

How I live my faith

I am the Ward Clerk. I take care of membership records, leadership meeting notes and agendas, ordering, quarterly reports, and assisting where needed. I also keep the Clerk's computer running at its best. I have the privilege of going home teaching with my son. This is convenient as I do not have to coordinate with him. I already know his schedule. He makes our appointments and I teach the lessons. One of these days we may get to switch rolls.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Bob
My wife and I see marriage as a partnership, not as one following the other. We discuss and make decisions together. When our children want to do something, we discuss it and then make a decision. I have come to rely a great deal on my wife's input. We support each other. Show more Show less
