Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Mormon. My family helped built a school in Nepal one year instead of giving each other Christmas presents.

About Me

I am a small business owner in the western United States. I have 4 sons and a very supportive wife. We travel quite a bit and enjoy new places and new people. I met my wife after we both graduated from college.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born into a family that went to the church, I studied the church and beliefs completely. I am a history buff, and I realized that Jesus set up a church while he lived. I learned how that church fell away and was corrupted. I learned how great men tried to reform the church but lacked the priesthood authority, and then I studied the restoration of the truth and priesthood in the 1820's and what is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Nothing could be truer.

How I live my faith

I donate many hours to both my religion and my comunity. I have worked with our youth groups many years and in voluntary assignements. I really like working at the cannery and food banks and church farms to produce food for needy people. I have been blessed with the flexibility in my scheduling to allow that. Our church teaches people to donate of their time and money and talents as they can to help humanity. This is what Jesus taught.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Brian
Absolutely not. The church encourages members to vote for good and honest people but has a written policy of strict political neutrality. We have high ranking officials in Republican and Democratic parties in the US and have members in government leadership throughout the world. We are encouraged to help make where we live a better place. Show more Show less
