Hi I'm Janette

I'm a mother of 3. I like Zumba and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a wife and a mother of 3 wonderful children ages 17, 13, and 8. I work part time as a dental hygienist. I enjoy working out, reading, boating, shopping and most of all- spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I love the Savior and I want to do all that I can to follow him including being a part of His church. I have felt many times an overpowering, warm, happy feeling telling me the things I that I have studied and prayed about are true. I love my family and know that we can be together forever by living His teachings.

How I live my faith

I have taught many age groups of children and young women, including participating weekly in their activities. I love working with the youth and getting to know each of them with their own unique personalities and talents.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Janette
Ancient prophets who lived on the American continent like Nephi, Jacob, Alma, Mormon, and Moroni (to name a few) wrote the Book of Mormon. Most of the writings were from around 600 BC to about 400 AD. The Savior, after he died and was resurrected, visited the people (His other sheep) living here at the time. The Book of Mormon also includes a record of another ancient civilization that lived here around the time of the Tower of Babel. Joseph Smith translated these ancient writings. What's interesting is that the Book of Mormon was not written for the people living at the time it was written, but for us here and now in this day. Show more Show less
