Hi I'm Rhonda

I am a mother of seven children and a gardener. I like yoga and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to teach, and by being a Cub scout leader, Girl scout leader and an after school program coordinator, I have had the opportunity to learn what inspires children to be their best. I also teach adults to work with children. I direct an hour long yoga stretch class once a week for women in the neighborhood. I have made many long lasting friendships and mentors in these pursuits. I am a happy person. I have faced some unhappy and hard times just like everyone and my trials have shaped me into a better Christian and member of my community. I love the fellowship and teachings of the Mormon Church and the blessings that come to my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up to be a Mormon by my parents. At the age of eighteen, I prayed to understand for myself the Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ and its effect in my life. After a number of weeks I received this answer from God, I needed Christ and that I should stay on the path I was on, it was the correct path. This has brought me happiness and comfort in times when I need it and direction and spiritual accomplishment at other times. I continue to be a Mormon because even though it may not always be easy it is always worth it.

How I live my faith

I minister to women in my community by being involved in food drives, visiting sick members, welcoming new neighbors, and sharing my skills and resources with those that can use my help. I teach gospel principles to ladies in church services as well as in their homes. I council with church leaders to understand how I can best serve. I strive to keep the commandments found in the scriptures so I can have the guidance of the Holy Ghost in my daily life. I look to the teachings of Jesus Christ to guide me each day.
