Hi I'm Logan

I'm a father of four, a Spanish teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spend much of my spare time with my children--two girls and two boys. I enjoy soccer, ultimate frisbee, and playing the guitar. My family and I like camping, fishing, and visiting the beach. While learning Spanish, I spent time in the Dominican Republic and have traveled with my students to Costa Rica. Experiences like these have shown me how beautiful the world is and how much alike we all are.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have had many marvelous personal spiritual experiences. I have had so many witnesses and impressions that Jesus lives, that He has a living prophet on the earth today, that the Book of Mormon is true, and I have seen the Gospel of Jesus Christ change people for the better--including myself.

How I live my faith

I'm a simple guy. I try to live in a manner that people who know me will know what I believe in and what I stand for. I currently work with the elders quorum in my congregation. It is a great blessing to work so closely with these men and to see them accept commitments and then receive the promised blessings that come from obedience.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Mormons are Christians. We're called Mormons because we believe in a book of scripture similar to the Bible called the Book of Mormon. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. I think that we're not that different from most Christian sects. Family is important to us. We strive to keep the commandments and be good examples. The biggest difference is that we believe in modern-day revelation or in other words, we believe that God has a prophet on Earth today much like Abraham or Moses of Old Testament times guiding His children in a modern world.
