Hi I'm Aaron Straw

I'm a husband and father to three. I'm a Mobile Cosmetic Dentist. I'm a soccer and motorcycle enthusiast. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a husband and father of two young boys. I grew up enjoying the mountains, lakes, and deserts of Utah with my parents and four siblings. Although I wish I could play soccer, waterski, or hike through a desert oasis on a weekly basis, I enjoy fixing teeth and relieving pain. It's my goal to get out of debt and then get out and serve. I lived in Andalucia, Spain for two years. That experience really opened my eyes to the vastness of God's plan for our happiness. I love the culture, the customs, and people of Spain. I could use a little bit more of Spain in my life too.

Why I am a Mormon

I follow the example of Jesus Christ. I repent as Jesus taught. I became a member of His church through baptism as Jesus taught. Jesus has the power to make us whole! I love what Jesus has done for me.

How I live my faith

Living my faith seems to have it's seasons. Currently as a father I try to teach my children everything I can to give them every advantage possible to be successful and to develop enduring, loving relationships. I serve at church by teaching a small group of ten year-olds. I live my faith by sharing what I know and inviting others to learn more from the missionaries. I keep my soul pure through humility and repentance. I continue to learn by study and by faith. I'm honest and give my best work to everyone.

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Aaron Straw
As a young scout, I remember telling others at the National Jamboree on Fort AP Hill that Noah of the Old Testament was a Mormon. I was shocked as they began to laugh and ridicule me. To me, a Mormon was someone who followed the prophets of their time, or WAS the prophet of his time in Noah's case. God establishes and teaches His gospel. It all began on earth being taught to Adam. Then, amid periods of apostasy, He establishes it again. Joseph Smith is the man chosen to be the instrument through which God establishes His gospel for the last time. The Bible refers to these times as the last days. Thus, it's the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Show more Show less
