Hi I'm Jessica Jaspering Peterson

I'm a wife, a nanny, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 26 and have been married to the man of my dreams for just over a year now. I'm currently working as a nanny for three wonderful children. I love the family I work for! My husband is becoming a journeyman electrician. We are truely blessed and love Colorado!

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony of the gospel began when I was about twelve years old. It was through prayer that I first truly felt the love that my Heavenly Father has for me. It was pretty amazing, especially to feel it for the first time! And an experience I will never forget. When I do my best to live the way I believe the Lord wants me to live, I am happy. Not the kind of “happy” I am when I buy a new pair of shoes. It's a happy that isn’t dependant on anything of this world. I am able to recognize that all I have and all I am, is because of my Heavenly Father's love for me. And that, alone, is all I could ever need.

How I live my faith

My husband and I, together, teach 8 and 9 year old children in Sunday School. We love our calling and have learned quite a bit ourselves from it. We attend church for three hours every Sunday and I am able to meet with some wonderful women from our ward every month outside of church through a wonderful program called Visiting Teaching.
