Hi I'm Andrew Larry

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have had a lot of blessings in my life. I own and run a small computer company . I have a masters degree in electronic/computer eng. from M.I.T. I rode in the rodeo for a number of years as bull rider and team roper. Do to injuries from that i am kinda of retired. But That just give me more time to spend with my kids. I have six. I had them before i became a mormon. In fact, one of reasons I choose to become a member of this church is their dedication to family. I have been able to accomplish a lot in my life. And I believe that all these things have led me to be who I am today, and that includes the good and the bad. The one thing that has remained consistent in my life is my belief in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I choose to be. I'm a Mormon because it makes sense. I'm a moron because I've experienced other beliefs and I found them lacking in some area. I'm a Mormon because the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints not only incorporates the teachings and messages of the gospel; we have a living prophet. And that's one of the things that I've always felt was missing from other beliefs. The need for prophecy. Most other beliefs based their teachings on the Bible alone. But I refuse to believe that after the New Testament, our heavenly father simply stop talking to us. I believe that the book of Mormon is another gospel. It is a restored gospel. Our heavenly father knows we are and he knows we need continual guidance which is why he provides a living prophet. I'm a Mormon because I believe in the articles of faith, I believe that Joseph Smith was chosen our heavenly father to restore the gospel. I believe this is the true church because everything about it teaches us our heavenly father wants us to live.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the teachings of the church, the teachings of our heavenly father and our prophet and continually asking myself is of the right thing to do. I think we all have that inner voice. But it's up to us when we choose to listen to it or not. I choose to live my faith upon the teachings of the gospel.
