Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a lower 30's, married, father of four, professional that works in downtown Houston who stays busy with the usual balance of work/life. I enjoy the outdoors, playing sports, ice skating with my daughter, and learning about cars.

Why I am a Mormon

The Mormon church is the only church that can provide real answers to the basic questions of "Where did I come from, Why am I here? Where am I going? and What about everyone else?" These answers make sense and are validated by the peace of the Holy Spirit, and give life purpose. My life's experiences have answered the question that we do have a loving Father in Heaven who cares for us as his children. We are meant to be happy in this life by obedience to the commandments of God.

How I live my faith

I work in local church leadership, visit three families each month, and try to teach my children faith in Jesus Christ so they grow up to be believing adults who serve others without hesitation and without being asked. I try to be one consistent person between my public, private, professional and church settings. I participate in our local Sam Houston Area Council (Boy Scouts of America) as staff for Woodbadge training and mentoring young men toward the rank of Eagle Scout.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes. We believe in our Savior Jesus Christ, the literal son of our Heavenly Father, who overcame death and suffered the penalty of sin for each of us that we can return to the presence of Jesus Christ, our Heavenly Father, and our families. I love my Savior for his merciful granting of repentance for me that I can be forgiven of my sins and by following his example, to the best of my ability, I can enjoy the blessings of his gospel.
