Hi I'm Parker

I grew up in Arizona. I live life, and have fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just got home from serving a mission in the church in North Carolina. I work on a farm, and I love to play soccer, dirt bike, and be around my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was about 15 I was working on the Duty to God program in the church for the young men. One of the requirements to get this award is to read the Book of Mormon. I had just finished the assignment and i read at the end of the book, Moroni 10: 3-5. I decided right then that I would ask God if the Book of Mormon was true. That night I got my answer. I have since then been called to serve a mission and have returned faithfully. I know that it isn't always easy to live the gospel standards, but by surrounding myself with good friends and the scriptures and other things in the church I have been able to keep the faith.

How I live my faith

The way that live my faith is by being an example. I have a lot of friends who are not members of the church. Because of my example they ask a lot of questions about why I do what I do. It is a great way for me to teach them about something I believe in so much.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

God is a God of order. He has worked in a particular pattern since the beginning of time. A man without a police badge does not have the credentials to give you a speeding ticket, so does a man without the Priesthood authority have the permission to baptize. Show more Show less
