Hi I'm Peter

I live in Southern California. I'm a family man. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, father of four, and a Christian. We live in a house, complete with a dog and a bunch of bikes and sports gear in the garage. I make my living as a finance guy. My hobby is to watch our kids in their sports, including watching our daughter ride horses. For fun, I ride a road bike and snow ski.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel the love of the Savior when I read the Scriptures and pray. I believe the Lord hears my prayers and loves me very much. I frequently feel the Holy Spirit touch my heart to testify that Jesus in the Christ and that he was born in Jerusalem, died for us to atone for our sins, rose from the tomb the third day as a resurrected being, and lives today in Heaven. Through my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel of Jesus, I have found a tangible and practical means to live my Christian faith.

How I live my faith

I live my Christian faith by speaking positively. How I speak is a reflection of the love I feel for the Lord. Everyone deserves a kind word, especially those having a hard day.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

We believe we will need all the grace we can get! Truly, it is by grace that we are saved. For as greatly as I have been blessed in my life, I can show my love for the Lord by loving others and by doing my best to keep God's commandments. We all make mistakes, and I'm certainly on the list of sinners. But as often as I repent and strive to live by faith, I feel an increase of God's love in my life. Nevertheless, let's be honest with ourselves--it is the atonement of Christ and His grace that will save my soul and yours. Thanks be to God for the life, sacrifice and grace of Christ Jesus!
