Hi I'm Jacob

I am college student, a Husband & Father. I love writing, teaching others, and doing math.

About Me

I am a college student studying to become a doctor. I love to watch movies and be around friends and family. I love to do extreme things, such as sky diving. I love to do creative writing, drawing, sculpting, anything artistic. I am a son of two wonderful parents who love me. One of my favorite activities is playing the piano, i love to sit there and feel the music flow through me and hear every sound it makes. It always brings me happiness. I love my beautiful wife who is my best friend. We share everything together which brings us closer as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

By living the teachings of the church I have come to experience the Holy Ghost in my heart and it testifying to me of the truthfulness of the church. By living the gospel I have been the happiest I have ever been. I feel his love every time I attend church meetings. Every time I read the book of Mormon I feel closer to my savior. I have come to understand my meaning of my life of how I got here and where I am going. I know the things that are written in the book of Mormon are true and have brought me the truth. It has changed my life. When I about 16 years old I wanted to know if the book of Mormon was true or not. I never read it all the way and only parts of it. When I really desired to know and sought after it, it came to my knowledge that it was true. I feel God's power every time I read and ponder about the book of Mormon. I love being able to read it. It is most precious to me. I love the words of Alma. It makes me smile every time. when I feel down or upset it always gives me peace and calms me down. There is so much that i could say and share but you should know for yourself. Read and study the book of Mormon. I testify that it will change your life and you will know if it is true if you desire to know. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is the true and living church of Jesus Christ. I have come to know God and His Son Jesus Christ through the Book Of Mormon along with the Bible. I KNOW He lives and is a real person and I will see him again one day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day. It starts when i wake up, I leave and breath my faith. If I didn't I would not be as strong as I am today. Every time I do something that is obeying God's commandments he gives me strength and so many blessings in my life. I feel so loved and wanted every time I am around others of his church and with those that have his light. When I do my home teaching I know that I am acting for the savior when I talk to those members and help to strength them. Every month I have a opportunity to see them and visit them, not only to see how they are doing but to share a planned message of a gospel principle. I know that home teaching is very important for I have seen the change in people's lives when i meet with them in their home. There is a bond developed and a sweet spirit that is there. It is by these things I see the persons growth. It touches my heart to see the people I teach grow. I know my savior is happy for me and is pleased that I have chosen to obey him. By changing the lives of the people I home teach it has changed my life. I have learned to serve my fellow man. It is something that Christ has said, "feed my sheep" I know that when i do my home teaching I am feeding Christ's sheep. He is so proud of me because of my obedience. I am so thankful to have this opportunity. This is just one of many ways I have learn to serve others. I also have learn to love everyone. No matter how different we are. Faith is something of action.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

yes, you can, if you ask your Father in heaven. Pray to him with all your heart and soul. Don't hold anything back and truly as if it is true. Its may not come all at once but each prayer that you give in asking to know if it is true, it will come to you. Don't give up to know the true because it will change your life as it has changed mine. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

It is the center of our God's plan. With out family the plan of salvation could not work in its fullness. There is no greater happiness than what can be found in family. There is something special about the family that connects them. The love that brothers and sisters have for one another is unique. No friendship or relationship can replace what we can find at home.
