Hi I'm Steve-O

I'm Mormon and I am a 22 year old in California.

About Me

I'm going to college. I am currently Majoring in Chemistry and hope to carry that into biomedical engineering. My hobbies include card games, video games, spending time with others and helping out in the community. When I was younger I really enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) with my friends. I love discussing astronomy, physics, quantum mechanics, probability, genetic engineering and psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to a personal conclusion that when I read the Book of Mormon and pray about it that I know it to be true. I find that very special and also that the church teaches that a witness from God is necessary for conversion. I know that this gospel is true because God has told me. It's that simple. What I love about being Mormon is that the commandments that I keep bring happiness to me. When I keep the commandments I am happy. When I don't, I am not. It's that simple.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving those around me. I know that Christ loved everyone and served everyone and I strive to do the same. I'm not the smartest or the strongest or the most articulate person but if I can be like Christ and love and serve others regardless of who they are or what they have done, then I feel that I can best live up to the blessing of having His Gospel in my life.

Are Mormons Christians?

Absolutely! All of our beliefs are centered in Jesus Christ and we believe that only by Him, of Him and through Him can we be saved. Jesus Christ is the rock of my salvation and the only Way whereby I can return home to God. We believe in Him and seek to follow His example. Is not this being Christian? Show more Show less
