Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a BIG mormon!

About Me

It is hard to summarize who a person is in a paragraph, but if I were to choose things that make me who I am.... I love music, I record and produce music for a living. I have a wonderful family with 2 brothers, and two loving parents. I have a beautiful loving girlfriend who I hope to become my eternal companion and wife someday. I volunteer as a counselor for people who are dealing with substance abuse because I, myself have dealt with the same issue and have been clean from substance for 7 years.

Why I am a Mormon

in an ever growing morally ambiguous world, I looked everywhere to find peace and joy. I have found it in the words of the Book Of Mormon and the standards in which I live provided by the moral standards the church has set. I make mistakes but am happy that I know that I can be forgiven of those mistakes. I am happy to know that I am going to be with my family for time and all eternity. Being a Mormon gives me perpetual joy.

How I live my faith

One day at a time. I do my best to create and keep good spiritual habits. Things like daily prayer and scripture study. I attend activities with my ward and make being a part of my ward family a priority. I make mistakes ALL the time, but because of my spiritual habits and positive surroundings, I feel like my mistakes are getting smaller.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Aaron
The Word of Wisdom represents a guideline for us as members of the church to take care of our bodies. Our bodies are gifts from our heavenly father and creator, it would be disrespectful to him (our father and creator) to harm our bodies with outside sources that do not promote health and long life. Things like drugs, alcohol, smoking and other tobacco products, and other things that harm the body can become a prison of addiction and can lead to the deterioration of our bodies and mind. To keep clean of those things will allow our bodies and minds to be whole and as our savior intended. Show more Show less
