Hi I'm Justin

I'm a Mormon. I grew up mainly in California and now I'm serving a mission in Montana

About Me

I love sharing with people my beliefs. I get along with most anyone and I can be quite sociable and personable. I'm willing to talk to anyone. I love sports and music I think they are some of the best things that has come in the world and some of the greatest things God has put here on the earth. I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints a more common name for this church but not our real name is Mormons. I'm serving this mission for the church In the Billings Montana mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since I was 8 years old, however my parents are converts to the church much later in their lives. I am a member of this church because I have come to know that the Book of Mormon is true. The way I know its true is because a true prophet of God translated it and it testifies of Christ boldly. Its comforting to know where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going and we know these things because we have a current prophet of God on the earth today and he does speak to us.

How I live my faith

I live my life by trying to follow the path Christ led for us. And when I slip up I know the lord will forgive as long as we dont do the same thing over again. I also live my faith by trying to let all people know that God once again speaks through a prophet.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

These questions are frequently asked while we serve our missions. The answer to these things is simple the reason why only members of the church go in is because the have been baptized into the church and are living in harmony with the standards of the church which in turn are the standards of God. That is also the reason why only some members are allowed in the temple because they arent completely in Harmony with the approved standards. Now you may wondering why these "standards" are so necessary. The reason is the temple is the house of the Lord and we need to be following his commandments as best as we can. There is nothing secret about our temples the events that take place are very sacred and so they arent talked about that often because of the sacredness of them. What happens in the temples are things such as baptisms for the dead, no we dont take dead bodies in there :-) but we do the baptismal ordinance by proxy so someone stands in place of the person that is deceased and someone with the priesthood authority performs the ordinance. Than the are other things such as making more and heavier covenants (or 2 way promises with God) to follow the path the Savior and Redeemer led. Then we also seal families and a husband and wife together forever to last this life and into the next. All of these ordinances are completed through the priesthood authority of God, which is another important thing. The priesthood is the power and authority given from God for the salvation of all mankind.a href="http://mormon.org/me/2RT5-eng/"img src="http://mormon.org/bc/assets/images/widget/profile-button/temple-my-faith.png" alt="I'm a Mormon."//a Show more Show less
