Hi I'm Fermin

I dig listening to music. I enjoy travelling. I love the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Orange County, Ca. I have a great family and awesome friends. I graduated college with a degree in business management. When i'm not burning the midnight oil as a project manager, you can find me out on the local mountain bike trails during the summer and in the mountain resorts of Utah in the winter.

Why I am a Mormon

During my teen years, I always had questions about religion and my faith that I was unable to answer. I decided to learn about other religions and what they were about. Years later, I was still searching and asking questions. It wasn't until a great friend of mine returned from his Mission that I was introduced to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His love of the Gospel and how he lived his faith was inspiring and influencing. I took the lessons with the local missionaries and after much studying and prayer, I knew of the truthfullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was baptized.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my faith everyday. I do this by trying to be a good example to people at work and out in the community. As the leader for the young men of my ward, I, along with the other young men leaders work with the youth throughout the week by teaching them lessons and providing them with opportunities that will help them grow in the Gospel and become better members and leaders themselves.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Fermin
When I began taking lessons with my local missionaries, I was excited to learn about Mormonism. As I read and studied the scriptures, I often pondered what I was learning. The missionaries helped me understand what i was learning through Q and A sessions and through sharing of their testimonies. I wanted to know if what i was learning was true. While I appreciated the passion that the missionaries and my Mormon friends shared about the Gospel, I needed to know for myself. I prayed sincerely to Heavenly Father and asked Him if Mormonism was true. I knew that if it was true, the Heavenly Father would let me know. I waited for an answer as I continued to study and one day i received an answer. A calmness fell upon me and my heart swelled with peace and I knew that what I had been studying was true. Heavenly Father had answered my prayers. Show more Show less
