Hi I'm Landon

I'm a father, a husband, a CPA and a die hard Cubs fan. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a proud father of two boys and husband to a beautiful wife. I graduated from college with a degree in accounting and currently work in the finance group for a famous guitar company. I love all things sports and I hope that at least my kids live long enough to see the Cubs win the World Series. (Having grown up in Utah where there was no professional baseball team, I sometimes wish I could tell my 8 year old self that Mark Grace and Andre Dawson were great but that I should have picked another team, but don't tell the Cubs I said that).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is what makes me happy. The knowledge that I am truly a son of a loving Heavenly Father makes all the difference in the world for me. It sustains me in times of difficulty and helps me keep a proper perspective on things.

How I live my faith

I strive each and every day to be the best example of Jesus Christ that I can be. Whether that is lending a helping hand to someone in need or spending quality time with my children. I've always felt that my faith in Christ is perfectly summarized by the scripture John 7:17 which says, "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself". I grew up in an LDS family and was taught the doctrine since I was young. As I matured and began to make my own decisions the scripture came to life for me as I realized that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. The result of all of these daily decisions to follow the example of our Savior has helped my faith in Him increase.
