Hi I'm Jeff Kartchner

I'm easy-going, love life, being outside and learning. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in New Orleans while my Dad finished up his medical training, but grew up in Tucson, Arizona. As a kid I loved playing sports, being outside, and being with my friends and family. Right now I'm finishing up school at BYU, hoping to get into med schools! I have been married for over a year to my beautiful wife Natalie, who I met while studying at BYU. She's a cute nurse, I hope to be a doctor someday, we figure we make a pretty good couple! We love to run, hike, camp, and read books in the hammock!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of this church, and have seen a wonderful example of faith from my parents. Even during difficult times, my family always seemed to have the faith to carry us through. This faith has proven to be more than sufficient to carry my new family through our own difficulties. We choose to live as members of the church because we find joy in the spirit that it brings into our home. We also have a firm testimony that this church holds the truth and authority to lead our family back to God. This testimony has come through many years of faithful living that has provided peace and happiness for us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the small things. Christ taught us to treat others with kindness. One of the things that brings me closest to Christ is when I'm able to serve others. The Church gives so many great opportunities to serve the members of the community. Some of those efforts are wide-spread, but most of them involve helping individuals. I have felt over and over again the happiness that comes from serving other people. The desire to serve has spread into my relationship with my wife and other family members. As I serve, I feel the love that God has for each of his children. As my love for God has increased, I have felt the importance of keeping the promises that I make with him. Members of the Church make promises or covenants with God regarding their faithfulness. Each promise helps us to grow closer to God and become more like him. As we do so, we are able to live with more peace and happiness.
