Hi I'm Katrina

I'm a newly-wed. I'm studying English. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy hiking, boating, and just about any sport- although baseball is at the bottom of the list. My favorite rainy day activity is reading. I enjoy science fiction and fantasy. I would love to write a book and be published. I enjoy painting and caligraphy. I am happy to be a newly-wed. I work full-time as a receptionist and part-time as a student, but hope to become a full-time student soon.

Why I am a Mormon

For me, it started by going to church with my family and seeing my parents live gospel principles. As I grew up, I began to read the scriptures and pray. I repeatedly received answers to my prayers and felt the Spirit. My experiences are reminders to me that God is here for me, whatever my trials may be.

How I live my faith

I help organize activities in my church to help people get to know each other. I know that having the support of friends and neighbors is important. It is our interaction with other people that makes life worthwhile.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Katrina
Marriages and family relationships are based on love and forgiveness. Christ is the best example of love and forgiveness in the history of this world. When we have faith in Christ, we follow his example and have his atonement to turn to for our own mistakes. As we feel his love, our love for our family and others around us increases and it is easier to forgive. Show more Show less
