Hi I'm Jamin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Six kids, an amazing wife, that's how I roll. This family of mine keeps me on my toes. I don't think I'd amount to much without them- they are definitely my everything. I love to travel, ride road bikes (cycling), boating, camping...pretty much anything. Nothing makes me more happy than to see my kids succeed. Whether it's on a report card or an an ATV, success has a compounding effect.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon brings inner peace. I have the answers to questions that many people never find. Viewing our time on Earth with an eternal perspective helps me to face challenges, pick myself up when I'm not already there, and lends me strength to overcome obstacles that seem frustrating. Plus, to me, the gospel really makes sense. Why would Jesus Christ come to Earth, establish his church, and live by such a great example if it was all to fade and become distorted after he physically departed? The Mormon church is the most correct and similar to that established by Jesus Christ himself when he was here.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith? When you believe something to be true, it becomes a part of you that really dictates to your subconscious what is right and what is wrong. Knowing this makes difficult decisions become easier. Is it right or is it wrong? I have worked for many years with the youth of the church, helping and teaching them as they develop testimonies of their own. Probably my biggest contribution isn't anything I have ever said or taught, but hopefully is evident by casual or critical observation of my behavior. I believe that being honest in all things will never lead you into problems.

Are Mormons Christians?

Jamin
The formal name of our church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints." By that name, it is evident that Jesus Christ is central to beliefs. We call ourselves "His" saints. We strive to follow his example. Show more Show less
